An heritage of hospitality, between Siena and the world

Historic Elegance,
Contemporary Spirit

Set among the roses overlooking Siena, history and mischief keep good company.

Villa Ermellina takes its name – and its restless, curious spirit – from Marchesa Ermellina Bargagli, a 19th-century Sienese noblewoman as cultured as she was cosmopolitan. Her diary reads like an open invitation: balls, garden walks, unexpected friendships.

We’ve kept the invitation open. Here, aristocratic elegance meets a playful, contemporary spirit — heritage, culture and design in quiet conversation, for an experience that feels both rooted and alive.

Inspired by the cosmopolitan spirit on Ermellina Douglas Scotti, the Villa brings together heritage, culture and a contemporary vision of hospitality, creating an experience that feels both rooted and alive.

Villa & Parco

a residence shaped by time

Originally a countryside retreat for Tuscan nobility, later a discreet stop for travellers along the Via Francigena, the Villa has always been a place of gathering.

Across centuries it grew from farmhouse to residence of leisure — enriched with frescoes, gardens and rooms designed to welcome.

Today, that same instinct for hospitality continues, reinterpreted for a new generation of guests.
